How often will my property be inspected?
We aim to inspect properties every 4 months to make sure that everything is in good condition and address any concerns or maintenance needs. We will always notify you in advance to arrange a suitable time for the inspection.
What do I need to do if I need to report a maintenance issue?
You can report maintenance directly through the PropertyMe app. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the issue and include any relevant photos to help us assess the situation quickly to provide the right solution.
Can I contact my property manager outside of business hours?
If you have an urgent issue or an emergency that you need to inform us of after 5pm, please reach out to your property manager directly and they’ll be able to provide the right course of action.
What do I do if my smoke alarm goes off?
If your smoke alarm is going off, first check for any immediate danger or signs of smoke or fire around the property. If you suspect it’s a false alarm, ventilate the area to clear any potential smoke or steam that may have triggered it. In the event of a real emergency, evacuate the property immediately, call emergency services, and notify your property manager.
What is the process for renewing my lease?
As your lease expiry date approaches, we’ll contact you personally to discuss renewal options. If you wish to continue renting, we’ll arrange the new lease agreement for you to sign. If you prefer not to renew, we’ll guide you through the end-of-lease process.
What steps should I take when I’m ready to move out?
When you’re ready to vacate, be sure to consult your lease agreement for the proper notice to notify us of your decision to vacate. You’ll need to clean the property thoroughly, make sure that all rent and bills are up to date, and return the keys. We’ll then schedule a final inspection to assess the condition of the property before releasing your bond.
